Walk into our shop off Beltway 8 and grab a finished patch off the table. Feel that.
That’s heavyweight twill, stiff, dense, and tightly woven. We use 40-weight Madeira thread that doesn’t fray or fade. It doesn’t care about your refinery’s steam hose or a Houston summer.
Our Tajimas stay hot off Beltway 8.
We just pulled a 1,000-unit 3D PVC run for a local construction fleet.
We also finished high-density metallic thread crests for private security teams.
These patches won’t rot in Houston humidity.
We build hardware for the job site.

custom embroidered patches houston
We stitch these on multi-head Tajimas using 40-weight high-tensile poly thread, tight, dense, and bleach-resistant. HPD divisions and Houston Fire stations use them because they survive a shift, a wash cycle, and another shift.
We injection-mold these from phthalate-free rubber, fully waterproof, zero fraying, zero fading. Ship Channel crews and outdoor contractors grab these because Gulf Coast humidity and diesel spray don’t touch them.
We weave these flat on shuttle looms, thin profile, razor-sharp text down to 4-point font. Corporate uniforms and logistics companies use them when embroidery thread is too thick for fine detail.
We stamp and deboss these from genuine hide, clean brand impression, zero stitching required. Refinery supervisors and ranch hands slap them on Richardson 112 caps and they only get better with wear.
We loop moss-stitch yarn by hand into thick, tactile lettering with real physical depth. Houston streetwear brands and varsity programs use these when they want a patch you can feel across the room.
We sublimate ink directly into the substrate at 300 DPI, full photographic detail, gradients, no thread limitations. Use these when your design has too many colors for a needle and bobbin to handle.
The backing dictates how the patch functions in the Houston climate. Choosing the right hardware is critical for durability.
sew-on
The absolute most durable option. Most reliable for Ship Channel logistics crews, refinery coveralls, and gear that hits the industrial wash.
iron-on (heat seal)
Standard heat-seal for casual apparel. Fine for hats and weekend jackets, but low-permanence in Houston heat.
Not for FR Gear
velcro® (hook & loop)
Built for tactical uniforms, multicam gear, and rapid swaps. Aggressive plastic hooks bite hard and survive abrasion on the job site.
peel & stick (3m™)
Industrial grade 3M™ adhesive creates a molecular bond with hardhats, Pelican cases, and solid surfaces. High-bond peel-and-stick.
custom patch border types.
Technical Edge Finishes
merrowed overlock
Classic raised border. This heavy-gauge frame adds stiffness. The tight thread wrap stops twill from fraying.
hot knife laser-cut
Clean, sealed edge for custom shapes. It sits flush with the garment. Thermal fusion stops fraying. Precision matters for Energy Corridor uniforms.
die-cut pvc border
Used on injection-molded PVC patches. This dense polymer adds rugged weight. Saltwater resistance matters at the Port of Houston.
built for the toughest jobs in houston.
Whether it’s a 500-man refinery crew or a local coffee pop-up, we use the same industrial-grade Tajima machines.
Energy Sector
oil, gas & petrochemical.
Refinery workers wear FR coveralls every shift. We use Nomex® flame-retardant thread because safety compliance isn’t optional. If your crew works near an open flame in the Energy Corridor or the Houston Ship Channel, we’ve got the spec.
Public Safety
police, fire & security.
From HPD divisions to private security, we build tactical gear that survives the shift. We use high-density stitching and merrowed borders that won’t unravel during a 12-hour patrol.
Sports & Academies
karate, kung fu & varsity.
Traditional moss-stitch chenille for Houston’s top dojos and schools. We capture the fine detail in your crest that “cheap” shops turn into a thread-blob.
Local Business
coffee, clubs & casinos.
Give your staff a premium look. From minimalist woven labels for coffee shops to prestige metallic threads for casinos, we bring industrial durability to Houston’s retail scene.

3D PVC SPEC
★★★★★
“The 3D effect on our field crew patches is incredible. Most rubber patches we’ve tried in the past would warp or melt in the high-degree humidity out in Deer Park. These feel industrial-grade and the 3M adhesive actually bites into the gear. We outfitted our entire refinery team and haven’t seen a single one peel off a hardhat yet.”

HIGH-VOLUME RUN
★★★★★
“We needed 2,000 units for a company-wide rebrand, and I couldn’t risk a customs delay from an overseas broker. Being able to send a driver to pick these up directly from the shop off Beltway 8 saved our launch. Delivered two days early, and I haven’t found a single loose thread in the entire run. Having a real factory in Houston makes all the difference.”

CHENILLE SPEC
★★★★★
“Getting that authentic Texas varsity look is harder than it seems. Most online shops send you ‘flat’ chenille that looks cheap. These guys got the ‘moss stitch’ height and the ‘fuzz’ exactly right. It looks vintage but feels brand new. Perfect for our Montrose heritage drop. Our customers are obsessed with the quality.”

TACTICAL EMBROIDERY
★★★★★
“We’ve been through three different ‘big name’ online shops for our unit patches and they always started fraying at the edges after two months on the shift. Found these guys off Beltway 8. The embroidery is noticeably denser, you can tell they’re using real 40-weight thread and the merrowed borders actually hold up in the wash.”

DEBOSSED LEATHER
★★★★★
“Most iron-on patches are a joke in this Houston humidity. They just peel right off our canvas work jackets after one summer. We switched to the 3M adhesive backing from Houston Patch Co. for our hardhats and the leather debossed patches for our crew shirts. Even after a 12-hour shift in August, the branding looks sharp.”

NOMEX® FR SPEC
★★★★★
“Safety compliance isn’t a suggestion for our refinery crews—it’s the law. We needed Nomex flame-retardant thread for our FR coveralls and most ‘promo’ shops didn’t even know what that was. Travis and the team knew the NFPA 2112 specs immediately. They hand-digitized our logo so the small text stayed legible on the heavy twill.”

why cheap patches fail in houston.
You’ve seen it. A patch peels off a hardhat in July. The glue melts in the back of a hot F-150. That’s not bad luck, that’s the wrong material for the Gulf Coast.
Heat
Adhesives turn to mush at 100°F indexes.
Humidity
Cotton thread rots in 90% Houston humidity.
We build for the elements. Every spec we use reflects that.
Engineering Truth
myth: “more stitches = better quality.”
Most shops push high stitch counts as quality. That’s backwards. Too many stitches on a thin substrate puckers the fabric and weakens the structure.
The right count depends on backing weight and use case. Our operators path every design manually to ensure your patch outlasts the garment it’s sewn onto.
If you need a cheap patch for a one-time event, Amazon works fine. We make patches for oil fields, port crews, and contractors who need them to last. If that’s you, let’s talk.
